About Me

Prior to a successful career as a computer education teacher, I was trained in computer repair technology at Porter and Chester Institute. After graduating from Porter and Chester in 1984, I repaired and installed computer, or CPU-based, time clocks, and payroll machines. I also completed degrees in education from S.C.S.U. and Sacred Heart University with concentrations in history, computer science, and instructional technology. I continued to repair and upgrade computers for Interactive Business Systems in New Haven until I accepted my first teaching job in 1987. In 1991, I was hired by the Bridgeport Schools to teach computers and in 1994 I designed and implemented the first computer education program for the Seymour Public Schools. Throughout my career as a professional K-8 educator, I also developed and offered technology training and staff development to adults. In 2015, I retired from teaching after serving as Westbrook Middle School's computer teacher since 2002. Throughout my teaching career I continued to repair and support personal computers and held various positions for school districts such as computer coordinator, technology facilitator, and computer repair and support consultant. I also continued to repair computers for a small group of clients in the northern Fairfield County area.

Most recently I began Greg's Computer Services and Repair in my hometown of Trumbull, Connecticut. My goal is to offer computer repair services and technology support at discounted prices and I will spend whatever time is required to ensure that each customer's computer runs better than the day it was purchased. I am committed to do this and still keep prices down by charging a low, flat rate for labor (typically 85 dollars for all combined services). You will not enjoy these savings anywhere else in my area as my competition typically charges separate fees for every service they perform which can quickly add up to a very high bill. I look forward to meeting all your computer technology needs in the future.
